Colombia La Roca

This Natural processed lot comes from the La Roca farm, located in the Planadas Municipality in the Southern region of Tolima, a Department in central Colombia. The farm is run by Jorge Elias Rojas Vasquez, who has worked in coffee for 22 years , beginning at 12 years old when his father passed away. We source this lot through Tatama coffee, an organisation run by 4^th generation coffee farmer Henry Gomez, who now works directly with various smallholders across Colombia.

A light-medium roast with this lot really emphasises the huge, boozy fruit flavours. An incredibly complex cup, you can expect juicy strawberries up front, a lingering sweetness reminiscent of chocolate liqueurs and an incredible array of rich, sticky fruit notes. Using a paper filter will bring out some more delicate floral notes, almost akin to a Turkish delight.
